They feel thick, although they are sealed in plastic, I didn't open them because they are an anniversary gift for my son and daughter-in-law.I really like the silver monogram on the black towels because their master bath is stone tiled in shades of dark and light greys. Will match beautifully.Little more than I would have wanted to pay so I am very happy that they are so pretty. It's worth it when you're happy with the purchase.
