So we absolutely try to be eco friendly as a family but we are very much a modern home that prioritizes convenience. When I tell you we actually prefer these to paper towels understand that we are very much an average American household. We decided to try these to save a little money and the bonus was it was more eco friendly if we could stick to using them. So the result?They are more reliable than paper towels because they are easier and faster to grab. We don’t fight with perforations that don’t tear right or risk the absorbency not being very good. They are also so much more versatile. Since they are soft I can use them on delicate things like dusting our decorations and electronics but also because they are tough I can use them to scrub dishes. The only thing I had to do to keep my convenience first family using them was set up a bin in our laundry room (a closet in the kitchen, coincidentally where we use them the most) for my family to dump them in.Then once a week they go in the wash when I am washing my work clothes. I take them out and roll them back up. It takes me less than 3 minutes to lay them out and roll them all up.We have been using the same roll for 3 months now and I’m so happy with the results thus far that I am about to order my second roll. For clarification there is nothing wrong with my first roll and I will continue to use them, but we initially only bought one roll to try out so we wouldn’t waste money. Now I’m getting a second roll because we do often run out before I can get them washed.
